We are Parasol Island – The creative hideaway with a team of hand-selected professionals that pour their sweat, blood & tears into every project. With this in mind we are in search of a Film Producer (Exec./Senior Level) that has seen it all.

We want someone that will expand our family, but also our portfolio. We are looking for a producer that has answers when others don’t and can help us grow Parasol Island Film for the future. This position is a key role, located at the heart of our film team. We are looking for a leader that will not only inspire and guide other team members but will strengthen the Parasol Island portfolio with new business and new opportunities.

Your profile

  • More than 5 years of professional experience with international film or production companies.
  • University degree in a film-specific subject. (Definitely not a must, but great to have.)
  • Organized and able to multitask like it’s your job. (… because it is your job.)
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, as well as
  • a solution-oriented work ethic with a “get it done” mentality.
  • Strong sales focus with the aim of establishing and expanding existing or new customer relationships.
  • Charismatic personality to confidently lead demanding and international customers, as well as being able to lead a team or parts of it
  • Extensive knowledge of whereabouts of creative work and talents within the industry.
  • Able to crank out annual target plans, controlling and project reviews with your eyes closed.
  • Deep knowledge of legal and commercial topics in the film industry.
  • Able to navigate pitch presentations, purchase and contract negotiations with ease.
  • An interest in technology trends and digital innovations.
  • Strong communication skills in German and English
