From the smallest organisms to the largest metropolis – water is the source of life. The essence of our existence, the most precious resource in our world. GROHE has driven a passion for water since day one. Together with GROHE, we collaborated to develop, design, and create an innovative and unique hybrid brand experience that showcases GROHE’s enthusiasm for water and explores the themes of design, sustainability, quality, well-being and technology in depth. Welcome to the GROHE X SUMMIT 2023.

The Task

We were asked to create a digital event to position GROHE as a brand that is really caring about today’s major issues. Caring about more than bathroom solutions and kitchen fittings. Caring about current social and environmental changes, including shortage of water, war, pandemic situations. 

So we created a place to dive deep into the future of living. A place to build understanding and rethink water in our homes. 

A place to meet, to discuss, to learn: to care for water. Our team of experts worked closely with GROHE to design an event that showcased innovative solutions and pioneering projects, while also sharing and sparking new ideas. To become the key event in the industry – and beyond.

The Idea

GROHE is Caring for water. So we made The GROHE X SUMMIT a journey. A three days’ trip from questions on socio-economic change to the role of sustainable construction to the non-tangible value of water. A tailored experience for a broad range of the GROHE target groups featuring panel talks, tech-talks and masterclasses to give impulses and make inspiration flow. 

Reflecting what keeps GROHE busy as an industry leader, change maker, identity creator. That’s why we made urbanization, sustainability, health & well-being our key issues. A one-of-a-kind experience, to meet like-minded individuals, engage in stimulating discussions and learn from a team of experts. 

Always delivering the right depth for any relevant target group. With each event topic kicked-off by inspiring people, stories, panels. Followed by masterclasses on projects and solutions to finally deliver fact snacks for various different target groups. 

The Outcome


We created a digital event where makers and visionaries met to create a better tomorrow – watched in more than 100 countries. With true experts sharing knowledge and sparking new ideas.  Showcasing innovative solutions and pioneering projects. A place for information and inspiration to flow.  The event spanned three full days filled with discussions, debates, and dynamic content, all revolving around the overarching theme of Caring for Water. Each day had a specific focus on a crucial topic – urbanization, sustainability, and health & well-being – approached from diverse angles. 

Attendees had the opportunity to explore the future of living, gain insights, and reimagine the use of water in our households.

Caring for water – Explore the subject of sustainability in relation to buildings, examining the potential for buildings to have a positive impact on the environment and the measures required to increase the sustainability of the construction industry

Day 3

Caring for water –  Explore the complex relationship between water and our health and well-being by delving deeper into the subject. A series of keynotes and masterclasses explored novel, multi-sensory methods of engaging with water and envisioning how it may shape the future of our living spaces.
