Audi Q6 e-tron x FCB
“Umleitung” isn’t a place? In a humorous short film, soccer stars Mathys Tel, Harry Kane, and Thomas Müller enjoy a ride in the new Audi Q6 e-tron. They encounter “Umleitung” (detour) again and again. The confusion sparks playful banter, ending with a showcase of the fully electric Audi Q6 e-tron impressive range as they continue exploring new roads. We produced this humorous spot holistically, from the shoot to the final delivery.
This project is the perfect example where a CG car can tremendously help on a production. The new Audi Q6 e-tron was still under full secrecy so we shot all driving footage out in the city streets with a stand-in car. In postproduction we then replaced the stand-in car with the new model, making sure, the CG vehicle matched the real Q6, visible in all non-driving shots, at 100%.
