Since 2003, the London label Jasmine Di Milo has stood for high fashion, which can be attainable despite its exclusivity. It started with a small boutique in Harrods – only three years later, the founder and CEO Jasmine Al-Fayed was voted „Woman of the Future“. Stars such as Kirsten Dunst, Gwen Stefani and Lucy Liu love the technical finesse of her label.
The original brand image focussed on luxury with a certain edginess, was dark and sexy; an image also conveyed by the neo-Gothic logo. In 2007, Jasmine Di Milo approached Parasol Island. The goal was to develop a corporate design, which merged the logo, shop fit-out and packaging to form a uniform image and picked up on the new central creative themes of the brand.
Parasol Island implemented the requirements with a mix of clear lines and shapes and expressive materials. The linear, classically elegant logo design created enough space to creatively develop the brand further.

The concept of the website was aimed at creating a platform on which all creations could be optimally presented, and at the same time to establish the online shop as a strong sales platform and worldwide communication tool. Apart from technical excellence, eCommerce and online marketing advice, the focus was on the aesthetic appeal. This was implemented, among other things, through the clearly structured user interface, which gave the website a fresh, timeless and inspiring look and feel.
In addition to this was a linear, highly aesthetic design, which picks up on the brand‘s identity and passes it on, creating new space for creativity and growing success. Parasol also designs and produces all visuals and catwalk films for Jasmine Di Milo.
„Their commitment and knowledge are an important factor for our success.
By setting up our website, an online shop and bringing together all our collections,
press material and celebrity references, we have successfully further strengthened
the foundation of our constructive collaboration. The trust candour and warmth of the
entire team make working together special and Parasol Island our chosen creative partner.“
