Hurricanes and other storms can be quite terrifying, and especially so when the storm takes out all the electricity in a location as big as New York City. The captivating stories that the buildings, parks and streets tell about New York City is a beautiful portrayal of unintentional art. The art of the city leaves the major east coast city stunning and breathtaking. While New York was at the wrath of Hurricane Sandy, some people evacuated others stayed indoors to ride out the storm, but a small group of people saw it as an opportunity to capture something that will probably never be seen again. Multi-media artists Jared Levy and Michael Marantz chronicled the NYC blackout with an impressive short video, “NYC Dark”.
